If you want to add some more colour and flavour to your regular banana smoothie, you can always add some berries to it. Here are the ingredients you should use:

  • One banana;
  • One cup of plain yogurt;
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of orange juice;
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries;
  • Four big strawberries without stems
  • One teaspoon of agave nectar (optional
Some ice (optional)


1. Wash your fruits and cut up the larger ones into smaller pieces.

2. Put the fruits into a blender and add the rest of the ingredients as well.

3. If you have chosen to go with ice, add it now. 3-5 cubes should be enough, but it is better to add some later if you are not satisfied with the texture.

4. Blend everything until you get a smooth mixture. Do not forget to check in on it during blending to scrape the sides and make sure that there are no lumps.

5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve as is, or you can add some blueberries, sliced strawberries or bananas as garnish
