What are your personal challenges as a celebrity?
My personal challenge as a celebrity is relating with my fans. My fans don’t know that Hafiz is different from Saka. Saka on stage is a funny and lively person, but Hafiz Is a shy person. I am a very reserved, serious minded and shy person, so sometimes I don’t know how to relate with my fans which make some persons think I am a snub.
My other challenge is fans begging money anywhere they see you, how much do I earn to start dashing money to everyone I meet. When you give them, it invites more people and when you don’t give them, its brings insult of one being stingy. Well the ones I wish to give, I give them.
In what ways have you given back to the Society?
I have impacted in the lives so many especially my students, those I taught and I teach in terms of bringing the best of out of them in acting. I also have an NGO that caters for less privileged needs and I am currently working on setting up skill acquisition and training young actors to become stars. I just got acres of land for that.
