Ebere Maduka hails from Anambra Sate. She’s a graduate of the University of Benin (2014), where she studied History. She served at Asaba, Delta State. Ebere Maduka started her Elementary Education in Aba before they moved to Lagos.
She’s a renowned personal trainer and fitness model; that she does to help people achieve their body goals in terms of loosing weight, stomach fat, big butts, keeping fit, flexibility etc through the help of exercise and Cardio.

WHAT INSPIRED TO GO INTO THIS FIELD?
I was in 300L when Asuu went on an indefinite strike in 2013. During my stay at home, People were complaining that I was getting too fat and i Should start watching my weight. One day I went on google to find out what to do to loose weight, then I saw Yoga which has to do with flexibility, I became so interested that I even tried out a posture I saw online that day. My younger sister took a photo of it and uploaded on IG and everyone was commenting “Wow! Who did this? “you’re really good, keep it up! Wow! You’re really flexible” when I saw the response were encouraging, rather than focusing on exercises to loose weight, my interest was Yoga.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN YOGA OR A YOGI WITH AN ACROBAT AND A GYMNAST?
Well Gymnast or Acrobats practiced for competition, they practiced for the field while a Yogi practice for body wellness.
TELL US ABOUT THE CAREER?
It’s a very profitable one that requires no finance other than your daily practise which you can always do in your house if you can’t go to the gym.
People are aware of personal fitness trainers, they hire our home services to help them transform their body shape on good pay. Gym centers also hire us as well.
The Career also create job employment for those who will love to be one . There’s a huge demand for personal fitness trainers.
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO GET WHERE YOU ARE NOW? I started Yoga 2013, but I don’t think i’m there yet. It wasn’t easy at all, I was one of the stiffest girl back then, I wasn’t flexible at all.
I had to sacrifice the kinds of foods I eat, there was a period I became a vegetarian (fed on Vegetables and water) most times the least hour I train is for 16hours to get a posture
WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES THAT COMES WITH BEING A YOGI?
Well as a woman splitting your legs and opening your body brings about some nasty comments and opinion from people. However I will say I have had more thumbs up so far.
SO FAR WHAT ARE THE HEIGHTS OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR?
First I will say I have inspired a lot of people. I have offered my services in the following places: Uniben, Asaba where I served, Eko fitness festival 2017, New planet Gym centre, okoko, I have been interviewed in “Lost in Lagos” Magazine, I also offer my consultancy services, presently I work at a gym center in Lekki. I’m currently working on my brand “Fit me” .
WHAT ARE YOUR ADVISE TOPEOPLE ON THE STATE ON THE STATE OF THEIR HEALTH be ?
People Should mind what they eat especially taking junks and too much carbonhydrate. They should try doing body exercise and having enough rest.
WHAT ADVISE DO YOU HAVE FOR UP COMING YOGIS?
Start strong- foundation
Don’t skip a day out of practicing.
Don’t copy People
Don’t get discouraged by the Society
Don’t go above your limit, it takes me 16hrs to get a particular posture.
